The origins of my acronym C.E.O. can be traced backed to my vast experience working with CEO’s in every kind of industry throughout the world and my uncanny (almost magical, if I do say so myself) talent for developing business strategy and simplifying my dogma.
The objective of CEOGrowthTeam.com is straightforward. Give CEO’s the teachings, training and tools to accomplish their #1 priority… which is growth.
That being said, I wanted to change the acronym CEO (Chief Executive Officer) and give it more meaning and depth as it relates to their actual job description to enable organizational growth at every level. I didn’t feel that the standard acronym “said” what it was supposed to “say.” So, I decided to change it to better serve my purposes in growing CEO’s so they in turn can grow their companies.
To me… there are three main categories that constitute an CEO’s ability to grow the enterprise. I have illustrated each of these three categories with my new version of the acronym C.E.O. Below is a brief description of these sections and an overview of what we do at CEOGrowthTeam.com to facilitate and support your chief aim. They are:
C- Consciousness: Information is the foundation of success in any endeavor, especially in business. A CEO must have access and processes for gathering and evaluating information. They need to be aware and conscious of what is going on in every world around them. They need to be conscious of their own company’s doings and thinking’s, they need to be conscious of their consumers world and lastly and extremely important, a CEO must be Conscious of his competition. Without consciousness of those three areas, it is impossible for a CEO to create strategies that both develop and defend the organization. This is also why it is the FIRST thing. The “C” in the new C.E.O.
As a member of CEOGrowthTeam.com you have access to teachings, trainings and tools that will help you become more Conscious as a CEO. E – Edgepertise: This is a created word that combines two more familiar words (expertise and edge) to more accurately describe the kind of people and skill required to grow your organization. You need not only top notch people with expertise and skill, but you need leading edge (not bleeding edge) expertise and skill to keep yourself ahead of the competition, keep your customers in love with you and do it without sacrificing your profitability in R&D or radical mistakes of careless snafus.

O – Orchestrate: It’s one thing to have a great idea… it’s one thing to have developed a great strategy… it’s one thing to have skilled people in place… but, it’s an entirely different thing to orchestrate these elements and components and make what you see in your head a reality in the business and the marketplace. The ability to carefully plan and cleverly maneuver through the obstacles that protect the gift of great success is undoubtedly one of the biggest gaps in business today.
